Every now and then I read a book that really moves me, this time a coming of age memoir and travelogue by American author Jay Parini about his Scottish Highlands trip with Argentine man of letters, Jorge Luis Borges.
The descriptive writing, the adventure and the serious comedy of it all makes for a memorable read and an even better life experience.
As an Argentine, I am deeply envious of Parini's time with such a brilliant compatriot, who's intellect I greatly admire.
