I am out of the office this week. I was supposed to attend the International Congress on Infectious Diseases in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia, but this was postponed until September 2020 on account of the novel coronavirus.
I spent part of the week in snowy Syracuse, NY, my teenage proving ground.
The ongoing coronavrius outbreak is never out of mind.
